Important Information Regarding .au Domains
All .au domains (except .id.au) require an ABN, ACN or RBN. The domain must:
- be an exact match of the name registered to the ABN/ACN/RBN,
- be an abbreviation of the name registered to the ABN/ACN/RBN, or
- be a product or service offered by the ABN/ACN/RBN owner.
If your application does not meet this criteria, the domain name application will be rejected. For more information on this policy, please see http://www.auda.org.au/domains/au-domains/
Additional Information Regarding Domains and Hosting Plans
1 .com.au domains are now a minimum 1 year purchase up to 5 years.
2 Hosting plan are invoiced for 12 months, starting from the date of invoice. The minimum charge is 12 months. This will need to be paid in full before account is active. Plans can be upgraded at any time within this 12 months, at which point any remaining months will be credited to the new plan. No credit or refunds will be provided for downgrades or cancellations of plans
3 Mailboxes have no set size, however available size is limited by overall available space for plan.
4 Extras added onto a hosting plan are invoiced for 12 months, or pro-rata for the remaining months left within your plan year. Extras can be added at any time within your plan year. Extras can be removed only at the end of your plan year, or the start of a plan change. Unused months will be credited to any plan upgrades. No credit or refunds will be provided for unused extras downgrades or cancellations.
